George is an independent travel consultant and lecturer in travel and tourism and has over thirty-five years’ experience working within the travel industry.
He has worked with the leading travel trade press in both the UK and US working with national and regional tourist offices in developing their destinations and attractions. He spent a number of years reviewing and classifying hotels for the leading travel agency guides and was instrumental in developing business links for tourism in Eastern Europe.
George has been involved with leading advertising agencies for their management of travel and tourism clients and, since 2000 he has worked in the corporate travel market developing and managing corporate travel for various companies and organisations.
Over the past three years he has advised countries of the Central Asia region on how best to develop tourism to these countries. He has contributed articles for “Open Central Asia” magazine on the tourism potential of the region.
George is a Fellow of the Institute of Travel and Tourism.
